Convert the provided photo into a U.S. passport-compliant 2×2 inch (51×51 mm) color passport photo. Follow these precise editing rules and do not alter the person’s identity:

Detect the primary face, center and align it facing forward (no head tilt). If no clear face is found or eyes/nose/mouth are occluded, return a short failure reason and retake guidance.

Crop and size: output 1200×1200 px @300 DPI. Ensure head (top of hair to bottom of chin) occupies between 1.0 and 1.375 inches of the final image. Eye line should be approximately 1.125–1.375 inches from the bottom.

Background and lighting: replace background with uniform plain white (RGB 255,255,255). Remove all shadows, gradients and background objects. Even, neutral lighting; preserve natural skin tones.

Face/details: neutral expression or closed-mouth natural smile; eyes fully open. Remove eyeglasses and reflections while preserving natural eye appearance; do not create artificial eye shapes. Remove hats/headwear unless worn for religious reasons and full face from chin to forehead and both cheeks is visible.

Editing limits: no artistic filters, no heavy airbrushing, do not change age, gender, or distinctive features. Remove small blemishes only if they do not alter identity.
